The Binding of Isaac – Greedy Glutes
A few weeks after arriving in South Korea to begin teaching, my brother pointed me to the Youtube feed of a guy who he listened to a lot – Northernlion. In the absence of typically hearing a western voice over here outside of work, he’d become quite accustomed to watching his videos and wanted to share them with me, notably Northernlion’s The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth series. Though skeptical at first, I was soon hooked and downloading it myself. Here I am 8 months later having put 200 hours into the game myself, and the latest DLC – Afterbirth – has a lot of great stuff to throw into an already hectic mix.

Fallout 4 crept up on me a bit, with the sudden post-release hype motivating me to buy the slightly cheaper version on PC. My brother, who I live with, has also recently bought it on PS4 and, suffice it to say, the hours of our free time are disappearing alarmingly fast.
In a good way.

After once again the Destiny community into frantic disarray, the final stage of the quest revealed itself the following reset – simply giving Banshee-44 a period of time to process his thoughts will allow you to head off in search of the final piece of the puzzle – the weapon frame.

The new Destiny expansion has been live for almost a fortnight now, and the full scale of the expansion is coming to light. Yet, despite all the data-mining and conspiracy-theorycrafting (which I’ll come onto later), The Taken King has categorically renewed my love for the game.

I am obsessed with the FIFA academy system. No matter what new features EA may deign to introduce throughout the life of the next-generation consoles and beyond, as long as they don’t faff around with the academy system too much they’ll have a loyal customer in me. Sure, I like playing online with friends or competitively when people are over, but it’s the youth system that keeps me coming back for more. It’s beyond addictive. As a Manchester United fan I’ll never shake the romanticism and nostalgia that came with the class of ’92.

World of Warcraft has been my vice for the past six years, and has commanded a lot of my time. Once I shook off the totally legitimate preconception that buying the game would be problematic for my teenage education, I dived in head first. And I loved it.
Seriously.
12 Things Which Will Happen Before You Explore All Of No Man’s Sky
No Man’s Sky has been in the spotlight since it took centre stage at the VGX awards, with more information being revealed by developers Hello Games suggesting that it will have 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets. If you spend a mere second on each one, it will take around 5 billion years for you to discover them all.
That’s a really long time, so here’s a list of things that could happen in the meantime.

Rainbow Six Siege – Thinking Outside The Walls
Rainbow Six Siege is the intense, punishing instalment in the franchise that it so desperately needs to bring it back to the forefront alongside some of the best team first person shooter titles out there. The games, fondly remembered for how damn difficult they were, lay on the precipice of being forgotten about altogether following the empty announcement of Rainbow Six Patriots three years ago.
Don’t worry though – your prayers have been answered.
