There are hundreds, possibly thousand of absurd creations that can be made using Minecraft’s tools, and it’s that sandbox freedom that has made it such a flagship name in the video gaming industry. A lot of the coolest things I’ve created and played around with have been based in mods created by the outside community – but not everything needs outside help.
Using an absurd combination of redstone equipment, and what I’m convinced is some sort of witchcraft, YouTuber ItsJustJumby has created a 3-Dimensional Printer.
I installed the latest Minecraft patch the other day, and after months of not playing it, I built myself a nice retreat behind a naturally flowing waterfall. I even gave it a double door entrance for that ‘illusion of grandeur.’ And then there’s people like this guy, creating things which leave me speechless.
Jumby breaks down the incomprehensible amount of tools he used to create his 3D Printer, notably 846 Redstone Repeaters, 1124 Hoppers, 9181 Comparators, 10,539 Redstone Dust and 20,103 Command Blocks. Holy shit.
Minecraft is still going strong, with plans for release on both the Xbox One and Playstation 4. The game also hit 13 million copies sold on PC, as well as a further 10 million copies on Xbox 360.
Ever built anything this cool?
